Wind Cave National Park has experienced an 11 percent increase in visitors to its cave tours last year.

Exciting news considering that last year Wind Cave celebrated its busiest day since 1976 with over 1,600 folks visiting the 222+ kilometer (138+ mile) long cave.

The warm spring weather definitely helped our visitation, and it just hasn’t slowed down since, Vidal Davila, Superintendent at Wind Cave National Park

So far this year over 32,000 people have attended one of the five cave tours, which run daily from 8:40 am until 6:00 pm.
