Natural Bridge Caverns has announced the dates for the 2015 Bracken Bat Flight where visitors have the opportunity to witness the evening emergence of the world’s largest bat colony.

Now in its fourth year, Bat Conservation International (BCI), working with Natural Bridge Caverns, opened the “Bracken Bat Flight” tour to the public in 2012 to raise awareness of these amazing animals and their importance to our ecosystem.

The evenings begin with a Natural Bridge Caverns Discovery Tour and/or the Canopy Challenge Adventure Course before heading to Bracken Cave to watch as millions of free-tailed bats spiral out of the entrance and take to the skies on their nightly hunt for insects.

This year’s events are scheduled for July 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 15th, 29th, 30th and August 9th and 14th. Tickets are limited and go on sale 10 days before the flight.

    To whom it may concern,

I was wondering if the Bracken Bat Flight tours are still going on? Do they go till October?
