Watch: The Madagascar Karst Exploration Project

January 12, 2015 / Madagascar, Africa

Follow this crack team of cave divers as they journey into Madagascar’s fossil filled graveyards and flooded caves.

The team, made up of members of the Dominican Republic Speleological Society and the Quiet Diver Exploration Team along with a number of researchers, descended on the underwater caves of Tsimanampetsotsa National Park in October 2014.

During their expedition of the teams visited a number of amazing caves, found an astonishing array of fossil remains and even learned how to catch and grill bats for lunch.
