National Geographic Host Goes Caving in Macedonia

June 20, 2013 / Macedonia, Europe

Follow National Geographic Weekend radio host Boyd Matson as he goes caving in Macedonia.

Matson recently joined Stole Misev from Macedonia Experience for a wild cave tour inside Gorna Slatinska cave.

Located near the town of Slatina in southwestern Macedonia’s Makedonski Brod region, the 400 meter (1,312 foot) long through cave is often used for wild cave tours, introductory trips and basic training.

From the sad state of some of the formations in the video, all that traffic is evident.
