After a two-year break, the Rocky Mountain Regional returns this Labor Day Weekend (September 2nd to 5th). This year’s event hosted by the Northern Colorado Grotto, Paha Sapa Grotto, and Hole in the Wall Grotto, will be held at Cavern Wells on John & Pat Scheltens ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the site of the largest NSS Convention in history, when over 2500 people showed back in 1988.

The Black Hills are abound with caving opportunities. Home to both Jewel and Wind Caves, the second and fifth longest caves in world, as well as many other tourists, private and wild caves, there will be many trips available.

The Saturday night will feature a barbeque, cooked by caver/chef Evan Gehring. The menu which includes local Bratwurst, sweet corn, and bakery fresh breads sounds delicious.

Registration is already open. Visit the registration page to sign up.
