Abisso Led Zeppelin Surveyed to 1030m in Depth

Abisso Led Zeppelin, a cave on the Italian side of the Canin mountains near Selva Nevea was visited between March 9-13 by a small team of Italian and Hungarian cavers. They were successful in surveying 1.5km of new passages in the deepest recesses of the cave, extending the total depth to -1030m.

At the deepest point water is disappearing between large boulders. Further exploration will wait until next winter.
