The first circular for the 13th International Symposium on Pseudokarst has just been released. The symposium will take place from September 16th to 19th, 2015 on the edge of the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mountains in the Czech Republic.

Organized by the Orcus (a member of the Czech Speleological Society), The Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology of the University of Ostrava and the founded management of the Beskydy protected landscape area, the event will feature scientific research of pseudokarst in different rocks, several field trips and a documentary session.

Some of the field trips will be only surface trips focused on superficial pseudokarst terrains and local natural and historical sights, while others will be more difficult muddy caving trips that require full caving gear.

For more information or to register for this event, visit the 13th International Symposium on Pseudokarst website.
