Outdoor Adventure Weekend at Georgia’s Cloudland Canyon State Park

Georgia’s Cloudland Canyon State Park is holding an “Outdoor Adventure Weekend” next weekend.

The event, sponsored by Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park, will feature rappelling down a 6 meter (20 foot) cliff, day and night hikes as well as one-hour tours of Case Sitton’s Cave.

Cave tours, which are led by the Georgia Girl Guides and cost $20 per person, start at 9:00 am and run on every odd hour until 5:00 pm. To make your reservation, phone 706 913-7170.

Other activities during the action packed weekend include fishing, geocaching, archery, disc golf, a wildflower tour, a book signing and artist demonstrations.

Beginning with a night hike on Friday, April 27th, the runs through until Sunday, April 29th at 3:00 pm.
