America’s First Underground Zip-Line Opens in Louisville
The
world’s United State’s first and only underground zip-line has just opened in Louisville. Located in Mega Cavern, a 27 kilometer (17 mile) long former limestone quarry beneath the Louisville Zoo, Mega Zip offers an exhilarating one of a kind adventure.
The course consists of five underground zip-lines running up to 70 feet above the floor, including a dual zip for racing and three challenge bridges.
Certified guides lead the two-hour tours that will take folks into never before seen sections of this man-made cavern.
For more information on Mega Cavern, Mega Zip, or to make reservations, head on over to the Mega Cavern website.

Clearly not the first and only underground zip line in the world.
We have had one here in the UK for several years now, and it’s across a lake…
Then perhaps more accurately, the “first and only underground zip line in the United States”, or the “world’s first and only publicly accessible zip-line that requires no prior caving experience”.
Excellent video!
It’s not even the “world’s first and only publicly accessible zip-line that requires no prior caving experience”…caver friend from NZ showed me this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsqX_u0F260
