European Cave Rescue MeetingThe fifth European Cave Rescue Meeting will be held this September 15th to 18th in Starigrad Paklenica, Croatia. The meeting, put on by the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service Cave Rescue Commission, will be used to exchange experiences, knowledge, techniques, and applications of cave rescuers, with a special theme of “Techniques and System Testing in Cave Rescue” this year.

The meeting is divided into two parts, the first is a presentation of recent results in testing of equipment, techniques and procedures of cave rescue services that have tangible results. The second is to be used for the testing of equipment, situations, techniques and procedures in cave rescue.

In addition, the meeting will include a gathering of medics, doctors and paramedics, who are involved in cave rescue in order exchange experiences and contacts.

Prior to the Meeting, visits to local caves in the Crnopac Mountain will be organized.
