Get Ready for MUDFest 2015 this Summer

Get muddy at MUDFest 2015, a celebration of central Pennsylvania caving scheduled for the weekend of July 31st – August 2nd, 2015.

Now in its 6th year, the free event is proudly sponsored and hosted by the Cave Hill Grotto and held in the Warrior Ridge Campgrounds at Lincoln Caverns, just west of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

The weekend will feature plenty of muddy caving trips, a photo contest and a Saturday pig roast—first come first serve until the hog is gone. Besides caving, the region is ripe with opportunities for biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming and tubing as well as world class fishing.

In addition, through various raffles and other charitable activities, the event aims to raise money for The Pennsylvania Cave Conservancy, The Mid-Atlantic Karst Conservancy, The Middle Appalachian Region of the NSS and the National Speleological Society itself.

Happy mud-covered cavers.
