New Video Features Ogof Ffynnon Ddu’s Fault Aven Series

June 8, 2013 / Wales, United Kingdom, Europe

A new video by Keith Edwards highlights the Fault Aven area of Ogof Ffynnon Ddu, the deepest cave in the U.K. and the second longest in Wales.

Filmed during visits to the cave on March 7th & May 12th, 2013 by members of the South Wales Caving Club and the Dudley Caving Club, the video features Fault Aven, a series of high level passages above the First River Chamber.

This part of the cave is unique in that Pom Pom Passage is the only part of the cave that occurs on the southern side of the main Ogof Ffynnon Ddu streamway.

What a brilliant way to go caving! Could you go up to Yorkshire and film Langcliff for me to go caving (virtually of course) there next!
