As part of the ongoing series of webinars put on by the NSS, a presentation on the use of geophysics to detect solutional features in karst terrains has been announced.

This presentation, put on by Ron Green, will discuss a variety of geophysical tools including direct current electrical resistivity, which are used to aid in the detection of underground solutional features.

Although far from perfect these techniques have proven to be useful in the identification and characterization of karst features.

This informative webinar runs from 8:00 to 9:30pm CST (7:00pm MST/6:00pm PST) on March 11th, 2013.

As usual, space is limited, so reserve your spot now.

Also be sure to join 10 minutes early on the day of the presentation to assure your spot.
