In this week’s poll, we want to find out many caving organizations our readers belong to.

Last Week’s Poll Results

The results from last weeks poll seem to suggest that coveralls, or “cave suits” are indeed the unofficial caver uniform, with over 80% of respondents indicating that they wear them at least part of the time.

I hope i can find a group to cave with one day. But currently they all seem to be very dismissive about new people. It wont stop me from doing what i love, but it would be nice to cave with like-minded people who value cave conservation and appreciate the beauty that we find there!

When I answered this question, I included both grottos and conservancies. So: Central Connecticut Grotto, East Tennessee Grotto, Tampa Bay Area Grotto, Southeastern Cave Conservancy, Northeastern Cave Conservancy, National Speleological Society, and an unaffiliated student group: The Karst Research Group (University of South Florida).
