Watch: Researchers Catalog Indiana Caverns Peccary Bones

Indiana State Museum Paleobiologist Ron Richards is back in a new video that shows the next step for the bones he excavated from Indiana Caverns.

Filmed by YouTuber caverken, the short video shows process of cleaning and cataloging the bones of at least eight extinct Flat-headed peccary (Platygonus compressus), an ancient pig-like animal.

Located just outside of Corydon, Indiana Caverns opened in 2013 to great fanfare.
