Exciting expeditions and the 2015 NSS Convention are two of main subjects covered in the May 2015 issue of NSS News, due out soon.

The issue begins with an article recounting Sonya Erickson’s quest for the triple crown of western caving; Idaho’s Wind-Ice Cave, Colorado’s Spanish Cave and Great Expectations Cave in Wyoming.

Next up is Ken Stahley’s personal account of a difficult trip to Virgil the Turtle’s Greathouse Cave in Montana, followed Bennnett Lee reporting on a less than perfect Bexar Grotto trip to 0-9 Well in Texas.

Dave Hughes and Geary Schindel then reveal the NSS “Luminary Series” Presentations slated for the 2015 NSS Convention and Bob Hathaway gives a briefing on cave diving during the event.

Finally, Curt Harler explains how the NSS Executive Vice President’s Department acts and thinks.
