FESPA to Hold Cave Rescue Training
This weekend, the Spain’s Federation d’Espeleoloxía the Principality of Asturias (FESPA) will be sponsoring a cave rescue training program for anyone interested.
Held at Cueva los Canes (Puertas-Cabrales) in Picos de Europa National Park, the course begins on Saturday December 14th with theory before practicing horizontal cavity stretcher transport and installation of hot spots for the injured.
Continuing on Sunday, participants will being with the installation of splitters, before moving on to more advanced techniques.
