FESPA to Hold Conference on Cave Safety and Cave Rescue

Northern Spain’s Asturian Speleological Federation (FESPA) will host its first conference on caving safety and cave rescue this weekend.

This event, which will focus on caving first aid and rope self rescue, will be held at the lodge
Llindebobia (Bobia d’Abaxu-Onís) and the Cueva los Canes (Puertas-Cabrales) at Picos d’Europa in Oviedo on Saturday February 23rd and Sunday, February 24th.

This training is effort by the FESPA to drive Asturian cavers to continuously improve their skills.
