Celebrate Christmas at Tennessee’s Cherokee Caverns
Christmas in the Cave begins today at Tennessee’s historic Cherokee Caverns.
The event, a fundraiser for the maintenance and preservation of the cave, is the result of a month-long effort by a dedicated group of volunteers.
The group erected Christmas trees, holiday scenes and put up more than 20,000 Christmas lights to create the magical underground wonderland.
In addition to the delightful in-cave experience, visitors can do some shopping, get their faces painted, and enjoy dinner with Top Dog Vending or a sweet treat from The Fudge Man. Santa will even be on hand for family a photo-op.
Besides today Christmas in the Cave happens on December 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd & 23rd. Tickets are $8.00 per person for those 6 and up.
