Ask Cavers: What are Your Favorite Outdoor Activities?

Caving is not the be–all and end–all outdoor activity for everyone. Some cavers are also avid canoeists, mountain climbers, cyclists and participants of a whole host of other exciting outdoor activities.
This week we want to know what other outdoor activities you partake in when you’re not crawling around in the mud.
Are you a skydiving caver who enjoys downhill skiing? Let us know in the comments below.
Last Week’s Ask Caver Results
From the results of last week’s poll it seems that finding a bear in a cave is a relatively rare occurrence with only 20% of respondents having had the “privilege”.
Other cavers mentioned finding other equally exciting discoveries including live bobcats, rattlesnakes, porcupines, and leopards. No wonder it’s sometimes difficult to convince people that caving is a safe pastime.
Thanks for all responses!
