Cavers Organize Conservation Project at Kentucky’s Lost River Cave
A cave conservation project has been scheduled for this Saturday, October 27th at Kentucky’s Lost River Cave.
The event was organized following an evaluation on September 12th by the Twin Lakes Cave Conservation & Survey Task-Force.
The group who conducted the evaluation identified a number of projects in the commercial part of the cave. The projects include work along the Children’s Wild Cave Tour, cleaning of flowstone, and the removal of trash that has been washed from flooding.
This conservation efforts will be conducted by Twin Lakes Cave Conservation & Survey Task-Force and the Green River Grotto, with assistance from any other cavers willing to take part.
