A live webcast is being held this evening to teach about karst topography and its associated features such as springs, sinkholes, underground rivers, and caves.

Titled, Cave and Karst – The World Beneath our Feet, the free webinar will run tonight from 7:00pm until 8:30pm ET.

The presentation will feature topics such as why caves and karst are important, how caves connect to the surface, the impacts of what we do above ground, and the animals that live in caves.

Held by BatsLIVE, the presentation comes shortly after the extremely successful webcast last month that showed millions of bats as they emerged from Bracken Bat Cave.
