Stuck Teen Rescued from Virginia Cave
A teenage boy was rescued from a Virginia cave on Monday after he became stuck.
The 14-year-old boy was one of about a dozen teenagers exploring Glade Hill Cave, near Mount Solon, when he became wedged between two rocks about 120 to 150 meters (400 to 500 feet) into the cave.
Fire and Rescue crews attending the scene from Augusta County, Staunton and Waynesboro, took more than three hours to free the boy who was eventually rescued shortly before 9:00 pm.
Firefighters have indicated that the group teenagers appeared to be on a day trip from a summer camp, however members of the group refused to comment.
