Waverley’s Beach Cave Collapses into the Sea

The Cave Beach near Waverley in New Zealand is in need of new signage after it’s namesake “cave” finally collapsed last week.
The iconic “cave” came down last Friday after years of erosion took their toll.
Known as a great fishing spot and diving platform by locals, and an excellent subject for photographers and artists, the “cave” will be missed by many.
There must have been hundreds of photographs taken with the sun setting through it. Joan Hunt, Local Resident
