Red Bats to Appear on 1,900 U-Haul Moving Vans
During the first-ever Missouri Bat Festival held yesterday, U-Haul unveiled its newest SuperGraphic featuring the red bat and Missouri’s Onondaga Cave State Park.
U-Haul SuperGraphics are the educational, thought-provoking images on the sides of U-Haul trucks that highlight little known facts about U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
This newest Missouri SuperGraphic, with the goal of teaching people about the complex communication systems used by bats, will be adorned on the sides of 1,900 new moving vans as they travel the continent.
Launched in conjunction with the SuperGraphic is a fantastic website that aims to teach the truth about bats.
Caves and bats are valuable but often-misunderstood resources. We welcome this opportunity to feature Onondaga Cave State Park and spread the word about these outstanding resources. The more people learn about caves and bats, the more they will understand how important it is to protect them, Bill Bryan, director of Missouri State Parks, a division of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources
U-Hauls more than 200 other SuperGraphics can be viewed online at uhaul.com/supergraphics.

Though red bats only roost in moss or foliage (bright coats, bright daytime hiding places), it is fantastic that companies are loudly and proudly supporting such fascinating creatures!
