Origins Center in South AfricaA presentation later this month will highlight the search for caves in the remote north-west of Botswana.

The talk, co-hosted by the Geological Society of South Africa (GSSA), will feature speakers Gavin Selfe a geophysicist, and Roger Ellis a retired engineer who will discuss the unique ways that the new caves have been located, accessed and explored.

The project, currently known as the Gcwihaba Caves Project, aims to develop a new national park in the remote northern Botswana where the caves will play a major role.

The park has already been cited for World Heritage status and is intended to add to Botswana’s diverse list of tourist attractions.

The presentation takes place on April 17th at 6:00 pm at the Origins Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. For more information visit the Origins Centre website.
