Lost River Cave to Teach Cave Safety
Bowling Green’s Lost River Cave is planning to built an outdoor classroom to teach safe caving to local teens and families.
Teenagers often go caving with friends, and it’s important for them to learn to cave safely advised Lost River Cave’s Executive Director Rho Lansden.
Besides caving, there will be other activities such as building forts with cedar saplings.
The structure, entitled the “National Arbor Day Foundation Nature Explore Classroom” is being built with help from a $2,500 grant from the General Motors Foundation.
