Iranian Cavers Receive National Environment Award

Only six years after its foundation, the Iran Caving & Speleology Association was recently recognized with an National Environment Award for its efforts protect caves and karst.

The award, the most important honor given to organizations working on environment issues in the country, was presented by the president of Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Rouhani during the 10th National Environment Awards held earlier this month.
