Vote: Inaugural SCCi Photo Contest People’s Choice Winner

The entries have been received, and now the Southeastern Cave Conservancy (SCCi) needs your help to choose the People’s Choice winner in its first annual photo and video contest.

The 126 photo entries, all taken in and on one of SCCi’s 30 preserves, have been shared online in a Facebook gallery. Prospective voters must visit the gallery and “Like” their favorites.

The “Likes” will be tallied on February 27th at 11:00pm. The photo with the most thumbs up will be crowned winner.

The People’s Choice award winner, as well as the winners for the other 4 photograph and video categories—SecretBeauty, SecretAdventure, SecretLife and SecretWater—which are being chosen instead by panel of judges, will be announced at the 2015 Frick’s Open House on February 28th.

Following the completion of voting, the name of the photographer and the SCCi preserve the photo was shot in will be added to the each of the photos.
