Cavers have an opportunity to visit some usually closed Belgian caves this weekend, September 20th to 22nd 2013, during Speleology Days 2013.

The unique event three-day event, held at the beautiful Mozet Castle near Namur in Belgium’s Ardennes region, begins with socializing on Friday evening before Saturday’s main event.

Guided by members of Union Belge de Speleology, on Saturday attendees will either get to visit one of the closed caves or take part in a Cave Rally, an above and underground adventure to solve the murder on the blacksmith Jean Ruffe who was killed in 1759. Later, once back at Mozet Castle there will be a dinner and party.

The weekend finishes with a range of workshops covering everything from film and photography to informative lectures and exploration stories padded with beautiful pictures.

For more information visit or to register for one of the limited spots available, visit the Speleology Days 2013 website.
