This month’s issue features an in-depth report on the discovery and exploration of the Baquiano/La Trampa connection earlier this year in the caves of Costa Rica’s Barra Honda National Park (PNBH). Written by Gustavo Quesada & Carlos Goicoechea, the piece includes detailed maps and surveys.

Next, we head east to Venezuela, where Francesco Sauro, Freddy Vergara, Antonio De Vivo, Jo De Waele, Jesus Lira collaborate on an article about Imawarì Yeuta Cave which sits in the Auyan Tepui in Canaima National Park.

Lauri Hanauska-Brown, Bryce Maxell and Hans Bodenhamer then came together to file a report titled “Montana’s Collaborative Approach to the Looming Threat of White Nose Syndrome; An Unlikely Partnership”, while Martin Sluka compiled a photo gallery of Venezuela’s Churi Tepui biothems.

Finally, cave photographers, don’t miss the Digital Underground article by Dave Bunnel on flash units for cave photography.
