The Canadian Caver Releases New Issue: Volume 78

Volume 78 of the Canadian Caver, the semi-annual Canadian caving publication, is about to be mailed out.

This first issue of 2013, edited by Eli Brager, features the accounts of caving expeditions including Chris Lloyd’s report on the End of the World Expedition, details on Peru 2012 and J2 both by Nicholaus Veira and finally a two parter on Huautla – Sotano San Agustin by Christian Stenner and Nicholaus Veira.

In addition Jesse Invik shares the experiences of the Alberta Speleological Society’s Basic Caver Course, Michael Gordon explains that diversity makes the experience, and an interesting opinion piece by Dan Green presents a pointed critique of BCRA cave survey standards.

Finally to complete the issue, Ian McKenzie contributes two pieces – Caving the ‘Net and Campfire Tales. Phil Whitfield remembers recently deceased Ken Sinkiewicz, one of the founding fathers of caving in BC.
