Poll: Do you belong to a caving organization?
Recently we were wondering how many of our readers are actually members of an organized caving group, whether it be their local club or grotto or a national organization like the National Speleological Society or the British Caving Association.
While there are many benefits joining a group, there are some who prefer to go at it alone.
Do you belong to a caving organization? What are your reasons for or against joining? Answer the poll and/or let us know in the comments below.

Last Week’s Results
Last weeks poll saw most folks agree that a cave is a cave and they were going to visit it regardless if it was a show cave or not.
I think it’s important to support commercial caves. They are on the front line in the outreach to the general population on education about cave and caving. Many times I recommend that a youth group visit a commercial cave first before I take them underground. It helps them appreciate the wild cave experience more. It also helps weed out those who are claustrophobic and don’t realize it.
Many commercial cave owners support the efforts of the NSS, and some are members themselves.Allen Maddox, Youth Opportunities Underground
