A Quick Look Inside Canada’s Riverbend Cave
Canada’s Globe and Mail has a short photo story out covering a visit on August 31st, 2011 to Riverbend Cave at British Columbia’s Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park.
Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park, which recently opened an interpretive center, is about 150 kilometres (93 miles) north-east of Victoria on British Columbia’s Vancouver Island.
Established in 1971, at the request of local caving groups wanting to protect the caves and their formations, the 390 acre park is home to more than 1,000 caves.
