Weekend Rescue at Tennessee’s Worley’s Cave

For the second time in a month, a person has been rescued from Tennessee’s Worley’s Cave.

This past Saturday members of the Kingsport Lifesaving Crew responded to a call and extracted the muddy woman, over 308 meters (1000 feet) inside the cave, after she injured her leg.

She was taken to hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery.
