Manantiales – Portal a lo Desconocido Exhibition

Manantiales - Portal a lo Desconocido PosterA photo exposition, on now at the Museo del Hombre Dominicano (Museum of the Dominican Man) in Santo Domingo, features 30+ photos of the most well-known caves in the Dominican Republic.

The caves El Tildo, Cueva Taina, Padre Nuestro, El Dudu, Caves in Cabrera, La Jeringa and Manantial del Toro are featured in the exhibition entitled Manantiales – Portal a lo Desconocido (Springs – Portal to the Unknown).

Organized by the Dominican Republic Speleological Society (DRSS), the group gave a talk about caves, cave diving, cave safety and conservation at the kick off on July 18th. Visit their Facebook page for a gallery of the event.

Running until at least the 24th of July, the event is expected to be extended longer.
