Cave Divers Put Up Signs in Response to Last Weeks Tragedy

Grim Reaper Warning SignLess than one week after a University of South Florida student drowned while free diving on the Chassahowitzka River, a local Flordia cave diving crew, ADM Explorations has put up signs to warn future visitors.

The iconic signs, provided by the National Speleological Society Cave Diving Section & the National Association For Cave Diving feature a photo of the grim reaper and list the dangers of cave diving.

In the last 25 years, seven people total have drowned while diving in the Chassahowitzka River, the Eagle’s Nest Cave dive in Hernando County and “Wayne’s World” cave dive in Pasco County.
